Hess
Racing Products, now in
its 33rd year of operation, builds cars for eleven different series
including Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Camping World Series, Craftsman
Trucks, ARCA, and Late Model series including CASCAR,
the Canadian race cars series. Hess was chosen as the OFFICIAL parts supplier
for USAR Pro Cup Southern Series at the start of the 2003 season.
Hess Racing is proud to be a race sponsor as well as a
contingency sponsor since the advent of the Pro Cup Series.
Over
60% of the races (159 wins) and championships have been won by Hess
customers. Due to our exceptional chassis fabrication and our
on-site racetrack consulting, we are known by industry insiders to
supply the most current, competitive and reasonably priced parts in
racing. Billy Hess personally operates the parts truck and is
available at each venue.

Why Hess Racing Products?
From
the early days of racing the short tracks of the Southeast to the modern
spectacle of NASCAR on the Superspeedways, Billy Hess has built a career
of distinction in the evolution of modern stock car racing. From
his shop in Mooresville, North Carolina, Hess is now the major chassis
builder and parts supplier for the USAR professional racing venues,
including NASCAR Nextel Cup, Nationwide, Pro-Cup, CASCAR and several late
model circuits. Hess-built race cars have been successful for
competitors across the country and earned a reputation for speed and
reliability that bring many new customers seeking the same magic for
their efforts.
Racing
in the heritage of his Father, Hess traveled from Southern Florida to
North Carolina weekly to compete in short track stock car races against
youngsters who later became the top stars of NASCAR. His talent
for building fast cars led him to work for the
legendary Banjo Matthews in Arden, North Carolina. In 1986, Hess
entered into a partnership with BSR Products, and established his own shop in Charlotte and found
a growing market eager for his creations. Hess also had great
success owning and operating several racing teams including a win in the
Craftsman Truck Series with Ron Fellows.
With
the emergence of the USAR Hooter's Pro-Cup Series, Hess established the
standard of performance that competitors needed for success, partnering
with championship drivers like Bobby Gill, Clayton Rogers, Jason Sarvis
and Michael Rich. To date, Hess race cars have the best record in USAR
history, earning over 70% of all top 10 finishes. Working from his
new shop in the Talbert Pointe Business Park in Mooresville, Billy Hess
and his staff continue to manufacture top performing products for all of
the major series.
